Bates Wells Braithwaite go totally open plan

Bates Wells Braithwaite is a full service commercial City law firm which works with established businesses, charities and social enterprises, as well as start-ups and high-profile individuals.

Interactive Space was appointed by BWB as Project Manager and Cost Consultant, and managed from inception to completion, coordinating all the professional disciplines.

Julie Rees, of GN2, acquired the new 25,000 sq ft office floor at 10 Queen Street Place.

The firm decided to move to a totally open plan layout in order to reduce costs and improve communications and productivity. This was a major decision for BWB, as they had previously worked in cellular offices. Our team worked with the Client in a series of workshops to achieve buy in from staff to the new way of working, and the final design included pods for quiet working and informal meetings.

The Client is delighted with the new working environment as communications between teams and staff morale have considerably improved as a result.
