ACM Shipping

One Strand, Trafalgar Square,
London, WC2

The Project

ACM is one of the world’s leading shipbrokers providing a single point of contact for the seaborne transportation of oil, refined products, liquid petroleum gas and dry bulk commodities.

Having carried out their project at Kinnaird House in 2004, Interactive Space was again appointed to design and fit out ACM`s new space at Grand Buildings overlooking Trafalgar Square.

ACM have expanded dramatically over the past few years and needed to move to larger accommodation.

Nigel Hunt of Crossland Otter Hunt acquired the 10,000 sq ft of space and Interactive was instrumental in advising on the condition of the base build services prior to the lease being signed.

Client Objectives

To maximise the open plan space to locate as many trading desks as possible and provide shower, changing and break out facilities for the Staff.

Key Facts

Interactive had worked on the same floor of the building previously for Robert Half and Protiviti and so had a good understanding of the building services.

The 10,000 sq ft floor was fitted out in 7 weeks and the existing cooling and ventilation systems were upgraded and supplemented with new plant.
