The Project

Interactive Space was engaged to Project Manage and Cost Control the project, including overseeing the design team for the new offices. The project included refurbishing the floor to the Cat A Landlord’s specification and in parallel fitting out the 25,000sq ft of office space to Cat B standard for Advent Underwriting.

Our project managers worked closely with the interior designers to ensure that the creation of the individual offices, reception, meeting rooms and breakout areas were delivered on time and to the agreed budget.

Client Objectives

The new offices needed to take into account the Company’s expansion plans to accommodate an estimated 30% growth over the next 3 years. In keeping with their own brand and corporate guidelines, Advent needed to ensure that their image as a modern, forward-thinking company, would be reflected upon entering the reception area and flow seamlessly throughout the rest of the new office space.

Key Facts

Carrying out the Cat A and Cat B works in parallel ensured a 25% cost reduction and approximately a four month time saving for Advent, which was crucial given their tight time scales driven by the lease.

Advent Underwriting was able to move into the new offices in October 2010.
