Background

The Project

Interactive Space was appointed by CME Group as project managers and cost consultants on the Company’s move to new offices at the newly developed One New Change building, which has an enviable position overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral.

Through a 2 month intensive programme, Interactive Space tendered all the professional services on behalf of CME for the single floor of 40,000sq ft of space. Starting with a ‘shell & core’ floorplate, they project managed the installation of all M&E services, suspended ceilings, raised floors, cellular offices, meeting and conference rooms (with AV equipment), café and staff breakout areas, reception and client areas and creation of the high specification comms room, housing a complex data installation.

Client Objectives

CME wished to establish their London office within the heart of the City, in a location that enjoyed iconic views of the London skyline.

Key Facts

A ‘shell and core’ project, 3-phase move programme completed on time and to budget. The comms room is fully supported by stand-alone systems and Category 6 cabling, the highest category specification that can be installed in the present marketplace. Conference room facilities are comprehensive and fully equipped with the latest technology available. Furniture installation managed by Interactive Space and supplied by Steelcase.
