The Project

Interactive Space was appointed by Dentsu, one of the largest independent advertising and communications groups in the world, to conduct a space audit and then design the space and project manage the move to its new offices in London’s West End. The new offices occupy 11,000 sq ft, over 4 floors and housed within the futuristic architectural award winning building, just off Oxford Street.

Client Objectives

Dentsu wished to re-house three businesses to come together under one roof, including the European HQ and design consultancy, Attik (re-locating from Leeds). This would save costs by sharing the infrastructure of meeting rooms and back of house facilities.

The space needed to make a statement about how Dentsu work, what the Company stands for and be evocative of the mission statement “Making future magic”. The inside of the building needed to be in keeping with the futuristic outside aluminium clad façade, which features iconic curves that bounce light throughout the day.

Key Facts

Staff at Dentsu are now blogging about how proud they are to be working in such a great space. Specially commissioned features, including a 10-metre long walkway entrance made out of sail fabric, create the ‘wow’ factor. A bespoke table, inspired by a full sized airplane wing, takes centre stage in the penthouse suite boardroom.
