The project management and cost control of the professional team and specialists for the fitting out of 170,000 sq ft of office space on 13 floors including the management of the migration of 1250 Staff into the new building on a phased basis. The professional team consisted of Designers, M&E Engineers, IT Consultants, Planning Supervisor, Building Control, Catering Consultants, Structural Engineers.
To fit the building out in the minimum amount of time to take advantage of the rent free period and at the same time work within a fixed budget for the fitting out and consultants fees.
In order to take advantage of the rent free period, the procurement of the key trades was managed on a 2 stage tender basis in order to get specialist contractors on site quickly and working with the professional team. The facilities that will be created include 350 position dealing floor, 5,500 sq ft Data Centre, On Floor Comms Rooms, Open plan Space to a single space standard, Client dining and meeting areas, purpose designed reception area.
