Robert Half International was the first business to provide specialised staffing services for accounting and finance professionals. Since 1948, they have helped companies hire highly skilled accounting and finance professionals. The company’s CEO, Harold M. “Max” Messmer, has led Robert Half’s expansion from $7 million in annual revenues in 1986 to $3 billion in 2009. In March 2010, Robert Half International was again ranked first in its industry on FORTUNEĀ® magazine’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies.

The Project

Interactive Space was appointed by Robert Half International to project manage, design and run the tender process for a refurbishment and fit-out of the 10,000 sq ft office space at Grand Buildings.

Client Objectives

With an existing lease soon to expire, the Company wanted to be out of their tired building into a fresh, new environment that would at once reflect their International standing in the financial sector. The move needed to coincide with a fixed date and attract significant cost savings for the Company.

Key Facts

The refurbishment and fit-out happened through a phased project with the client in occupation throughout. A tight turn-around 12-week programme to complete the two phases. Protracted landlord negotiations, which Interactive Space managed, meant that an accelerated programme was required.
