Stockbrokers, Peel Hunt move into Moor House, City of London

Stockbroker, Peel Hunt, had carried out a management buy-out from KBC and wished to move to new offices designed to suit the new company’s image and style. Peter Lance and James Proctor of Allsop, acquired the 25,000 sq ft floor at Moorhouse, London Wall, having carried out a detailed search of suitable buildings in the City of London.

Interactive’s objectives were to create a new look in the Client facing areas including Reception, Dining and Meeting areas. In addition, the aim was to maximize the space to locate as many trading desks as possible,for the rapidly expanding company, ably supported by the latest technologies.

The reception area has been designed as more of a meet and greet and welcoming facility, where visitors arrive and feel the personal touch of Peel Hunt, the organisation and the people. Peel Hunt wanted “traditional with a modern twist” and the curves in the architecture and special finishes were used to create this sense of warmth and welcome.
