General Dental Council offices at 37 Wimpole Street, W1G 8DQ
Interactive Space is appointed by the General Dental Council (GDC) to act as Project Managers & Contract Administrators for the refurbishment and extension to the GDC offices at 37 Wimpole Street. Interactive Space will manage a single stage traditional tender process.
The GDC is the regulator of the dental profession. Their purpose is to regulate dental professionals in the United Kingdom. The GDC was established by an act of Parliament in 1956.
The proposed works at Wimpole Street consist of a new-build extension, internal reorganisation and refurbishment of the GDC existing building to provide an increase in floor space. This coupled with the internal re-organisation, which will provide more efficient use of space, will increase usable floor space by over 20%. A key factor in the re-organisation of the building is the need for increased presence and ease of access and to fulfil the future needs for GDC. The project will take place whilst GDC is in occupation, with the aim to finish December 2014.
